This ensures that safeguarding is central to our culture and our work and is incorporated in our Practice Framework as a best practice approach.
Marymead CatholicCare has zero tolerance for the mistreatment and abuse of children, young people and adults, and recognise our responsibility to uphold and promote the safety and wellbeing of our clients. This includes our responsibility under Child Protection and Safeguarding legislation and standards, as well as relevant Vulnerable Adult legislation.
For the purposes of the Marymead CatholicCare Safeguarding Policy, the approaches and directions used for children and young people are relevant to working with vulnerable adults.
