Disability Support Worker – Horticulture

We are currently seeking two disability support workers to join our team. Successful candidates will work directly with adults with disability in a horticultural setting.



The Role


mulch is a vibrant horticultural social enterprise providing skills development & community connection opportunities for young adults with disability through the growing and selling of vegies & other garden produce. We are seeking an enthusiastic team player to join our team on a casual basis. As a disability support worker at mulch you will work closely within the mulch team as well as with participants, their families and other relevant networks. You will be responsible for undertaking a range of activities to support young adults with disability to work in a productive urban farm to achieve their individual goals and enhance and promote their development and independence. Ideal Person


The ideal person we are looking for has:

  • experience in disability
  • an interest in community
  • enthusiastic and outgoing.


To be considered for this role you will be also required to hold:

  • a current driver’s license, and
  • a current Working with Vulnerable People card
You will also be required to undergo a National Police Check.
