Our New Horizons program provides mental health counselling to help your child stay connected to others, explore their life choices, increase capacity and coping strategies, improve wellbeing and support them in strengthening their relationships with their family, friends and loved ones.
We offer government subsidised outreach mental health counselling as well as tailored in-centre fee for service mental health counselling.
New Horizons is for residents in ACT and surrounds. For residents in the Eurobodalla region, please refer to our Regenerate Program.
This is a clinical outreach program with a primary focus on children and young people, however we also work holistically to support the family by providing information, referrals, advocacy and counselling where needed.
We provide flexible support delivery as our sessions can be offered across varied locations to meet your needs. Support can be provided both individually or in groups within schools. Individual counselling is delivered over 6–12 months.
Please note this service has a longer waiting list than fee for service mental health counselling.
