As a foster carer you’ll provide day to day care for a child, and work as part of the team with Marymead Catholic Care and other professionals to see that their needs are met. Your case manager will visit your home each month to meet with you and the child and help with any needs or concerns. You’ll help this child feel like a part of your family, but you’ll also understand that they have their own birth family too.
