This is an exciting opportunity to oversee an energised and committed team of staff working within Marymead CatholicCare’s Aged Care services. The role will oversee the SINC (CHSP) and Home Care Packages teams and support workers who are committed to delivering a quality service across the portfolio. Working within the Aged Care programs and across the ACT and NSW, this role offers variety of tasks and the opportunity for growth and development.    We are currently seeking a Program Manager to work within the CHOICES & Aged Care Service. We are looking for someone with a commitment and understanding of person-centred care and has a track record of working collaboratively with their team to enhance consumer and service outcomes. This role is responsible for the oversight of services delivered to individuals who are aging and receiving support through the Seniors in Networked Communities Program (SINC) and the Home Care Program.

The Role

You will provide support and leadership to a group of skilled staff and support workers who provide a range of high-quality services, information, and support to our consumers. The Program Manager will ensure compliance with program contractual requirements and legislation, this includes individual service agreements with participants as well as government contracts and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within both the disability and mental health sectors. Ideal person

The ideal person we are looking for has:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Community Services or Aged Care
  • Knowledge and understanding of the aged care sector, knowledge of CHSP and HCP is desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience in change management, specifically in terms of reviewing programs and implementing new systems and processes.
  • Ability to liaise and advocate with various stakeholders.
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity for sound work organisation and effective use of time.
To be considered for this role you will be also required to hold:
  • a current driver’s licence, and
  • a current Working with Vulnerable People card.
  • You will also be required to undergo a National Police Check.
