From 1 November 2025, the Australian Government began rolling out its new Support at Home program. The rollout will occur in two stages, with Home Care Packages transitioning from 1 November 2025, followed by the Commonwealth Home Support Program in July 2027. Marymead CatholicCare Canberra & Goulburn is an approved aged care provider under the Australian Government’s new Support at Home program. We can work with you to manage your care and services so you can continue living safely and comfortably in your own home.
The Support at Home program replaces the previous Home Care Packages (HCP) and Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) programs. It is designed to provide older Australians with flexible, person-centred care that supports independence and wellbeing at home.
