Our 2-hour cooking classes are designed with a person-centred approach, where every participant is valued and supported. Each class typically has up to 5 people, but the group size can vary depending on the needs of the individuals and the group. We focus on teaching kitchen hygiene, cooking skills, and the joy of working together in a fun, group-based setting.

In every session, participants can create a meal to enjoy together or take home. We encourage everyone to share their favourite recipes or bring new ideas to the table, making the experience more personal and engaging.

Before joining, we kindly ask participants to let us know about any allergies, dietary needs, or support requirements, as well as any social considerations, so we can ensure everyone feels comfortable and included.

Sessions are held at Tension Wood House, 57 MacArthur Avenue, O’Connor ACT.

We are a registered NDIS provider, please check the latest NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits for the most up to date information.

Aged Care participants are welcome too.

If you require a support worker to attend the group/s with you, that’s absolutely no problem! We ask that support workers kindly follow the guidance of the group facilitator to ensure you’re getting the most out of the experience and support you with your personal care needs if that is required. It’s all about making sure you feel comfortable, included, and able to fully participate in the fun and connection that our groups offer.
